The James Merrill House Program is an activity of the Stonington Village Improvement Association, or “SVIA”, in Stonington CT and is
managed through its Merrill House Committee. The SVIA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The Merrill House Committee receives only a small portion of the rental income from the building at 107 Water Street. We rely on gifts from the Hellen Plummer Foundation, members of the Merrill family, and the local community. The building, including Merrill’s apartment, has been renovated and is maintained by our volunteers. Co-chair Lynn Callahan
