writer-in-residence program
Anna Sophie Potter is a native of New York State. She received her BA from Harvard and her MFA from University of Wisconsin. Her work has appeared in Jubilat and on Poetry Daily. She has worked as a receptionist, a cook, a teacher, and a safety escort driver. Most recently, she was the assistant to the science editor at The Dictionary of American Regional English in Madison, WI. During her stay on Water Street, she will be working on several projects, including a series of essays about work.
