Archived Events

The Merrill House committee believes the presence of talented writers enriches the life of the community. Its policy is therefore to enable the writer-in-residence to become a part of the community and to share their work, their ideas, and their experiences though readings, workshops, and informal gatherings.

Each year, the James Merrill House Committee invites a distinguished speaker to deliver The Annual James Merrill Lecture. This year will be the tenth in our series.

James Merrill's apartment is open to the general public four afternoons a year. At other times, visits may be arranged by appointment. Please contact us via our website for more information and directions.

To learn more about our activities, see our Spring 2014 newsletter.
