Writers have a library membership and the opportunity to read from their work

Merrill Lectures and an art space

We host our Merrill lecturers here and our WIR are welcome to attend their art openings and music concerts.

WIR receive a membership to our local YMCA both at the Mystic and Westerly branch.

Access to history

WIR are entitled to visit the lighthouse Museum or the historical Palmer House, Woolworth Library where the Merrill Reading Room is located.
