Open House During the Art Walk

Enjoy the annual Stonington Art Walk and this rare opportunity to tour the James Merrill House. Pulitzer-winning poet James Merrill purchased 107 Water Street in 1956 and left it to the Stonington Village Improvement Association (SVIA) when he died in 1995. The building remains much as Merrill left it and still conjures the poet's aura. Enjoy the panoramic harbor views from the Stardeck and absorb the magic of Merrill's books, art and objects.
